Qiu Xuanti is the clarinet lecturer at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology School of Arts. Having graduated from the Conservatorio Bruno Maderna di CESENA(FO) and Istituto musicale pareggiato A. Tonelli di CARPI(MO), Qiu has studied with Professor He Yi (China Conservatory of Music), Professor Piero Vencenti, Italian Artist Corrado Giuffredi, and Fabrizio Meloni (Principal of La Scala).
Qiu served as the Principal Clarinetist of Italian Clarinet Consort and participated in their recording of Tribute to Henghel Gualdi. Qiu was invited to perform at the New Year Concerts held by Teatro Bonci, Teatro Mentore, Luciano Pavarotti, and Todi, which were reported by Italian national broadcast RAI3. Qiu also attended several big occasions, including the 29th Camerino Music Festival, Italy Musimondi Arts Festival, and the opening concert of 2015 Spain International Clarinet Arts Festival.
Qiu has won following awards: second prize of Italy Camerino Clarinet Competition, third prize of London Classic Music Competition, first prize of New York Golden Classical Music Awards, and first prize of 2022 Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition. He was invited to perform at the award ceremony concert held at the Vienna Art Centre and Weill Recital Hall.
