Return Policy
We want you to love your new Backun Product. If you're not completely satisfied, you may return it within 14 days of the delivery date. Please be sure to complete our return form (below) to ensure we can process your return efficiently.
If a purchase is not made from an order, restocking fees will apply to all returned items.
If a purchase is made from an order, accessory restocking fees will be waived, but due to refurbishing costs, clarinet restocking fees will still apply if a clarinet is returned.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

$10 per Mouthpiece, Barrel, or Bell

Clarinet Restocking Fees
$100 USD per Student or Performance Clarinet
$150 USD per Professional Clarinet
$250 USD per Custom Clarinet
Note: Due to the cost and time involved in refurbishing clarinets, these restocking fees will apply to clarinet returns, even if other items are purchased from an order. If you’re not certain which instrument is best for you, or to trial multiple products, please visit your nearest Backun Dealer. (Please contact your preferred dealer about available inventory before your arrival.)
Late or Damaged Returns
Any late or unauthorized returns received after the trial period has expired, or which have been damaged or customized in any way, will be considered sold and returned to the customer with all shipping costs billed to the customer. This includes, but is not limited to: scratches, dents, and teeth and ligature marks on mouthpieces.
Refused or Non-Deliverable Packages
If the shipment enroute to the customer is refused, returned to sender, or otherwise non-deliverable, restocking fees, and all shipping charges, and customs fees (if applicable) will be deducted from your refund.
Should the charges total be more than the original order, the customer will be billed for the difference.
