Jurijus Rezničenko was born to a family of musicians in the Ukraine in 1972. He studied at Šiauliai Music College and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. While studying at the Academy, Jurijus accepted an offer to work in the Lithuanian Armed Forces Band. Jurijus has been working in the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra since 1996, and currently serves as a principal clarnetist and concertmaster of the clarinet group. He actively participates in the music life of Lithuania; he performs in a variety of chamber groups and has solo concerts with Lithuanian as well as foreign performers.
