Tom Nelson is a versatile low-reed musician with a wealth of experience in musical theatre, orchestras, and big bands. His musical journey began at a young age, having been inspired by hearing Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf at Tanglewood. Tom's fascination quickly turned into passion, as once he was invited to perform in a local production of Grease, the rest was history. Tom is now a highly sought-after specialist on bass clarinet, bassoon, contrabassoon, and baritone saxophone in the Southeast.
