About
Tina Tsai is a clarinetist born with microtia, an underdeveloped external ear. She holds a Bachelor of Music from University of California: Irvine and a Master of Music from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where she studied with Amanda Walker and Edward Palanker.
Ms. Tsai served as the Principal Clarinetist of the Silicon Valley Philharmonic Orchestra and as a member of the California Concerto Festival for Amateur Pianists.
As an active solo and chamber musician, Ms. Tsai has organized and performed collaboratively with local artists in the San Francisco Bay Area and is constantly looking for performance opportunities while raising awareness for those with hearing disabilities.
