Yang Guanhua was born in Jilin on October 26, 1992. Yang has completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Jilin University of the Arts, under the successive instruction of Professor Jin Xiuji and Associate Professor Wu Jianan. Yang is currently a faculty member of School of Arts Education at Jilin University of the Arts, a substitute teacher for the school orchestra, and a lecturer at Changchun Foreign Languages School. In addition, Yang performs as the Principal Clarinetist of Jilin Province Cultural Center Symphony Orchestra and is appointed as the judge of professional Level examination by Chinese Conservatory of Music. Yang is a national Class-III Singer, Second prize winner of the Third Wind Instrument Competition (Ensemble division, East-northern China), and First prize winner of the Second Wind Instrument Competition (Solo division, East-northern China). Yang has received great reviews and performed in partnership with domestic and oversea top players such as Professor Fan Lei (Central Conservatory of Music), Professor Ayako Oshima, Professor Charles Neidich, professor Kimberly (The Juilliard School), and Professor Dong Dejun (Zhejiang Conservatory of Music).
